Whole school Growth Framework
(AITSL Standards 1.2, 1.5, 3.6, 4.1, 4.3)

Led the development and implementation of Toogoolawa Growth Framework, an integrated approach to student wellbeing and learning, built on the belief that growth happens through action, connection, and transformation. Grounded in our core values of truth, love, peace, right conduct, and non-violence, it unites two complementary frameworks: Wellbeing and Welldoing, guiding students to thrive both personally and academically.

Classroom Observation PLG​
(AITSL Standards 1.2, 1.5, 3.3, 3.5)

Leading Professional Learning Community around building a culture of classroom observation, where a number of different observational models were explored, including shadowing a student for the day, inter-school observational rounds, and using 360 cameras to capture evidence of learning in a virtual envirnoment.

Deeper Learning Tookit​
(AITSL Standards 2.1, 2.2, 3.2, 3.3)

To help educators plan, implement and review the effectiveness of their learning and teaching programs, and to empower teachers and school leaders to lead their own curriculum review, I've developed the Deeper Learning Toolkit, a set of 50 cards and 20 discussion canvases which support structured discussions within and between teaching teams.

Staff Induction Program​
(AITSL Standards 6.2, 6.4)

Leading and coordinating all aspects of the 2020 staff induction program including advocating, and leading  high-quality professional learning opportunities for colleagues that focus on improved student learning. Working with the HR team to refine the onboarding and offboarding process of staff. 

PE Action Research projects
(AITSL Standards 2.1, 2.6, 3.4, 6.2)

Undertaken numerous action research projects on the use of ICT in PE and how visible thinking is linked across the curriculum. For samples of my literature reviews please visit:

PDHPE Department Curriculum Development​
(AITSL Standards 1.1, 3.1, 3.3, 5.1, 5.3)

PDHPE staff took the deep dive and became students again to emphasise with challenges our students face when completing an assessment task. I led the process of evaluating the effectiveness of their Year 7 Young Consumers unit on teaching, learning and assessment, staff walked away with a set of teaching strategies that delivers high-level learning technology integration in the delivery of curriculum.

IT Network Infrastructure Upgrade​
(AITSL Standards 2.6, 3.4, 4.5, 7.2)

A complete review of our network infrastructure needs across the college for the next 5 years, including all wired and wireless requirements of our community according to budgetary requirements. 

LMS Implementation Committee​
(AITSL Standards 2.6, 3.4, 4.5, 7.2)

Lead and support colleagues within the school in change management for the implentation of SchoolBox as a LMS whilst considering effective teaching strategies to expand learning opportunities and content knowledge for all students. The implementation committee I led also had to review and implement new policies and strategies to ensure the safe, responsible and ethical use of ICT in learning and teaching, based upon research.
